The spring wave of planting is now complete and thanks to all those who took part! Before planting begins again in the autumn, why not stay involved with the project by entering our art and photography competition? We're asking people to capture their favourite green place in Hull. Find out more.
The first signs of the fruits of your labour will soon be visible too. The wildflower grasslands will be making a colourful display around May/June time at recently-planted sites such as Stonebridge Playing Field. Why not take a look?
You've helped us plant 26,000 trees so far on the following playing fields: Stonebridge, Bricknell Avenue, Wymersley, Bude Road, Howdale Road. Bransholme Country Park and school grounds have also benefitted.
Now, with at least 30,000 trees left to plant we've found some more sites throughout the city which are ripe for a makeover. This means there'll be plenty more community planting events lined up for autumn, so please keep checking here for details.
