West Lothian

Branching Out West Lothian Project (BOWL) is a three year project which will conserve and enhance urban woodlands in West Lothian to make them more welcoming for the local community.

The project aims to:

There is strong local support for the project and will build on the links the Trust has already established with the local community in West Lothian to bring about great understanding and involvement in their local natural heritage.

The project has been made possible thanks to funding from Heritage Lottery Fund, Scottish Natural Heritage, the Scottish Executive and Forward Scotland through the Community Environmental Renewal Scheme and West Lothian Council.
