During 2007 the Woodland Trust have teamed up with The Scout Association to offer all Scouts the chance to plant trees as part of the 2007 centenary celebrations and our own Tree For All campaign.
With the help of The Scout Association we aim to plant at least 100 Centenary Groves – these will be new areas of native woodland, each made up of thousands of trees.
Many sites have already been identified thanks to the support from our partners and campsites. Some of the sites are owned by the Woodland Trust, however the majority are owned by other organisations and individuals who want to be part of the Scouts for Trees project in 2007. These sites will be planted throughout 2007, either in the period January - April or October - December.
The list of sites below will be updated as and when other sites are identified, so if you can't see a site near to your scout group at the moment, then don't worry, new sites are coming forward all the time. Sites that have already been planted during the Spring can be seen here.
More details about these sites will be added to this website shortly, including the dates for the events. However, if you would like to express an interest in attending an event at one of the sites listed, then please email us and we will get in touch with you when the bookings are open.
