If celebrity Dad Jeff Brazier has anything to do with it, his boys Bobby Jack (2) and baby Freddie will be as passionate as the Woodland Trust are about being green.
Jeff has been a regular fixture on our television screens after shooting to fame on reality TV show Shipwrecked. He is also the ex-partner of Big Brother star Jade Goody, the mother of his children. He launched the Tree For All campaign for the Woodland Trust in September by planting a tree with Bobby Jack just before Freddie was born.
At the London launch he said, “We can come back and visit Bobby’s little tree as they both grow. It’s a great thing to have done.”
“It’s important to look after the environment as the environment looks after us. I’m always going to encourage Bobby to do his little bit. Planting a tree with him was a small thing to have done but if everyone does it, it becomes something much bigger.”
And he’s so right. Over five years The Woodland Trust is hoping to get one million children planting 12 million trees.
Jeff’s such a dedicated Dad his boys are sure to listen to him. “There’s nothing stronger than the bond between a father and his child.” he says. Clearly he is a man who’s got his priorities right.
