Three million trees

Tree For All has now planted a record three million trees with the help of over 350,000 young people. In addition, 5,000 schools, 100 major partners and 270 community groups have also assisted in reaching this total.

We’re now well on the way to the Tree For All target, which is to engage one million children in planting over 12 million trees over five years. Three million trees equates to over 4,000 acres of new native woodland, so it’s great news for woodland conservation too.

You can find a summary of all the Tree For All activities over the past year, including an update on the Trafalgar Woods and details of how you can get more involved, by checking out the Annual Newsletter 2006, just published.
