Admiral Lord Boyce, The National Maritime Museum, London

‘Trafalgar Woods are a unique and highly appropriate way to remember 1805 – after all, our naval reputation is founded on oak and commemorative tree planting was one of the ways that the Battle of Trafalgar was remembered at the time.

The Trafalgar Woods project brings together maritime history and the natural world in a practical way that we hope will fascinate and inspire people of all ages everywhere.’ (Lord Boyce)
