Trafalgar Woods
Trafalgar Woods was not just about creating 33 new woods across the UK, there were many other aspects of it and we thought we'd tell you some of the many other ways that people get involved...
Roll of Honour
In addition to the creation of the new Trafalgar Woods, there were many other smaller commemorative plantings that took place, from a single tree to a copse or wood. Those planning to plant could register their details with the Woodland Trust and join our Roll of Honour. This list will be kept at the Royal Naval Museum in Portsmouth. Registered events also received an events pack and a certificate.
Events Grants
Not for profit organisations who wish to involve local people in planting trees were eligible for an events grant of up to £100 to cover the costs of their activity. More information.
