For Schools

This is where you can find out details of our Trafalgar Woods education programme which aims to bring alive the links between trees, history and young people using the Trafalgar bicentenary as an exciting snapshot of our past.

The project will involve around 6,000 children directly in tree planting activities at the Trafalgar sites. In addition a range of free resources and supporting materials have been produced to enable all schools across the UK to take part. These include the Trafalgar Woods poster and teacher notes, useful fact sheets, access to the crew list and the chance to undertake commemorative planting using our hedge and copse pack.

Visit the Trafalgar Woods links page for more useful information and resources for your school. The National Grid for Learning's HMS Victory site has a particularly good set of other curriculum linked resources.
